Why our children are in extreme danger

Social media platforms, designed to be addictive, are hijacking their self-worth, fueling insecurity, and eroding their ability to experience real happiness. The numbers are staggering, yet tech giants continue to profit while our kids suffer.

2. The Hijacking of Their Attention and Free Will

Algorithms are not neutral—they are engineered to manipulate. Every scroll, every click, every second spent online is designed to keep our children trapped in an endless cycle of digital consumption. This is not a minor issue; it is the equivalent of stealing their ability to think independently, to create, to dream. Their minds are being programmed for passivity, not purpose.

3. The Digital Wild West – No Real Protections

The internet, as it stands today, is a lawless playground where children are exposed to harmful content, predators, and radicalized ideologies in ways we could never have imagined. Cyberbullying is relentless. Misinformation spreads unchecked. The normalization of hyper-sexualized content is poisoning their understanding of relationships, identity, and self-respect.

4. Data Exploitation – Our Children Are the Product

Every interaction our children have online is recorded, analyzed, and sold. They have no control over their digital identities. They are digital slaves in a system designed to extract value from them without consent.

✅ The Right to Truth and Transparency – Every article, video, and meme must carry a digital fingerprint, ensuring traceability and accountability in the age of misinformation.

✅ The Right to Data Sovereignty – Children must own their digital identities. We demand a Digital Citizenship Passport, ensuring their data is theirs to control, not a commodity to be exploited.

✅ The Right to Mental Health Protection – Platforms profiting from addictive algorithms must be held responsible for the mental health crisis they helped create, funding real support for affected children.
